  • Annual fee: Partners $ 100

  • Reduced registration and event fees
  • Networking with partners and sharing of expertise
  • An annual Partnership Certificate suitable for public display to indicate your agency’s commitment to continuing gerontological education
  • Membership on CGEC Committees
  • Influential voice in educational initiatives that impact on care delivery across the region
  • Access to support from CGEC partnership resources when planning educational initiatives in your agency

How do you become a Partner?

  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality care such as meeting accreditation and/or other relevant standards
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuing education for your staff
  • Request nomination signatures from two current Partners
  • Be approved by the CGEC Executive Committee
  • Plus make a clear commitment to:
  • Participate on one of the the CGEC Committees
  • Contribute a minimum of 20 hours/year to CGEC activities

Responsibilities of Partners

  • Identify learning needs
  • Serve on a CGEC Committee
  • Contribute 5% from initiatives sponsored by the CGEC or where the Cooperative is used as a resource
  • Commit to the values/principles of the CGE Cooperative
